Colorado Technical University Class Action Lawsuit

Colorado Technical University is taking a stand for their students as they attempt to put together a class action lawsuit against the Colorado Technical University System. The State of Colorado is trying to force the school to reinstate their canceled classes, and this lawsuit could cause quite a stink out among other technical schools in the state that are looking to make a quick buck. The State of Colorado sent a cease and desist order to the Technical University of Colorado, stating that they were in violation of public policy by canceling their classes without advance notice. This would have violated the state law if they had not closed the courses. The State of Colorado Technical University also requested an emergency motion in court, claiming that they have a right to cancel the classes due to non-payment of student loans.

Now the question becomes, if the state is within its rights to try and force the Technical University to reinstate the classes? Could a Colorado Technical University have prevented this problem? One thing that I can tell you, is that if the state had followed its own rules when it was cancelling classes, then they would never have faced this problem in the first place. So, Colorado State is taking advantage of a Colorado Technical University class action lawsuit.

There are many situations where a Colorado Technical University may be able to avoid or put a stop to a class action lawsuit. They may have created a proper plan for repayment to avoid this problem, or perhaps have even offered a Colorado Technical University Student Loan Repayment Plan to students who qualify. A plan like this, offers students with financial assistance with interest and forgiveness from student loan debt after graduation. Although this particular plan may have been available for the students themselves, they may not have known that they qualified for it.

In order to see if you might qualify for a Colorado Technical University Student Loan Repayment Plan, you will need to contact your Colorado Technical University class action lawsuit counsel. It is important to remember that if you receive a notice of default from your Colorado Technical University’s loan servicer, it does not mean that you have lost the right to seek repayment of your debt. This simply means that you will not be granted a final settlement by your loan servicer. You will, however, be able to pursue the Colorado Technical University Student Loan Repayment Plan, and hire a loan servicer to work with you on your income-based repayment plan. Your counsel will be able to explain the details of this process to you over the phone.

If you have received a notice of default from your Colorado Technical University, you should seek immediate counsel to discuss your options regarding repayment of your student loans. Through a thorough Colorado Technical University Student Loan Repayment Plan, borrowers may obtain both financial forgiveness and lower monthly payments by working with their loan servicer to establish an affordable monthly payment. I was mislead in the courses I was taking as well as I was not offered in job placement as I was told would happen. How can I get involved in the lawsuit against Colorado Tech. I was not aware of this lawsuit as I have never received any thing on it.
